Our Story

At Iraqi Kabab restaurant in Austin, we are passionate about bringing the flavors and culture of Iraq to the heart of Texas. Our story began when our founder, Ahmed, moved to the United States from Iraq and noticed a lack of authentic Iraqi cuisine in the local dining scene. He decided to take matters into his own hands and opened Iraqi Kabab, with a mission to serve delicious, traditional Iraqi dishes that would transport diners to the streets of Baghdad.
